qualifications
We strongly beleive every homeowner should ask to see proof of the qualifications of the actual electrician carrying out the work in their homes.
To facilitate this we have listed below the basic legal requirements every electrician should meet and be happy to produce on request.
As well as maintaining full participation and compliance with the NICEIC Domestic Installer Scheme, the minimum qualifications required to carry out electrical work in a domestic premises are the City & Guilds 2831/2 and 2931/2 certificates. These are the latest qualifications that any UK based electrician legally must have to complement their PART 1, PART 2 and PART 3 electrical foundation qualifications.
In addition, all principal electricians at fuseboxheroes have Bachelor of Enginnering (BEng Hons) or Master of Engineering (MEng) Degree Qualifications from leading UK 'redbrick' Universities. This ensures and delivers a superior level or service with principal staff - not trainees, apprentices or improvers - physically carrying out the electrical work in your home.
